Administrative Committee

This committee will be responsible for the various aspects of the congress which can include health/safety/emergency plans, sustainability, and code of conduct/discipline action plans that will be in place before, during, and after the congress.

 

Fundraising Committee

This committee will be responsible for identifying potential funding streams to support the congress as well as PCI HI ongoing programming. Responsibilities could include accounting, crowd-source funding campaigns, corporate sponsorships, grants, events, and individual donors.

 

Human Resources Committee

This committee will be responsible for all aspects of human resources pertaining to the congress. Duties will include but not be limited to, identifying and supporting Hui Leaders, recruiting and supporting volunteers, assisting with the application/selection team, and assist with technical support before, during, and after the congress.

 

Local Action Projects Committee

This committee will be responsible for identifying host sites for the 3-day local action projects during the congress. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to: identifying host sites, establishing guidelines and theme, application/selection, funding, and logistics.

 

Logistics Committee

This committee will be responsible for ensuring all logistics are in place for a successful event which will include but not be limited to: Food, Accommodations, Transportation, and Security.

 

Program Committee

This committee will be responsible for ensuring all programming for the congress is appropriate, organized, effective and efficient. Aspects of this committee will include but not be limited to, workshops, plenaries and ceremonies, cultural events, and exhibitions.

hui leader

lead a cohort of 15-20 delegates throughout the congress. Responsibilities include leading daily hui meetings and reflections, being the point of contact for health and safety issues, planning and implementing evening activities for the delegates, and be active participants alongside the delegates in workshops and local action projects. hui leaders are expected to stay overnight in assigned dorms.
